Kolonos B.V. — Reeuwijk
Investments
with conviction.
A family firm investing in premium real estate and innovative agricultural participations. Patient capital, long-term horizons, a clear sense of what we do not do.

Philosophy
A long view, quietly held.
Kolonos is a family-held investment firm. We allocate patient capital to assets we understand: physical property in places that endure, and operating businesses where land and craft meet modern practice.
We don't chase cycles. We don't write press releases. We look for opportunities where a generation of stewardship will compound into something durable — for the people involved and for the land we share.
Our return target is real, not headline. Our horizon is the kind that lets a building weather a downturn and an orchard reach its second decade.
Pillar I
Real Estate.
We hold a small portfolio of buildings in premium locations across the Netherlands. The criteria are simple: a setting that will still be desirable in thirty years, structure that rewards care, and tenants who treat the building as their own.
We do not flip. We renovate, maintain, and hold. When we sell, it is because someone with a better story for the next thirty years has walked through the door.
Pillar II
Participations.
We take equity stakes in operating businesses, with a preference for agriculture and the adjacent food economy. The underlying logic is the same as our property work: invest where land, time, and skill compound — and where prudent stewardship is itself a form of return.
We are minority partners in most cases, full owners in some. We bring capital, governance, and the patience that closely-held private equity allows. We do not bring noise.
Reeuwijk
We answer to one generation, and steward for the next.
Kolonos has been a family enterprise from its first day. The decisions we make today are made with the same people we will share a Sunday lunch with tomorrow. That changes what you say yes to.

Kolonos is not actively raising capital. We do, however, respond to thoughtful letters — particularly from operators of land-bound businesses considering a long-horizon partner, and from sellers of buildings who would like the next owner to be the last for a while.
